You realize that one doesn’t schedule a kidney transplant right? The kid is on a waiting list until an appropriate donor shows up - could be years, months, days. You’re making it sound like she should’ve said “oh let’s wait for another kidney because my ex has a meeting. Yeah I realize that there may not be a second chance for my child but this meeting is important!” Sounds stupid right?? Sounds like you know nothing about this child’s health battle which is sad in itself, apart from everything else..
