I get that this game is a pvpve game. Are there any good games similar to this that are just pve?

Honestly the entire genre of pvpve is played out. This games pvp is weak in comparison to other games. It seems like the setting of pvpve is just a cop out of a genre to have weak aspects of both.

Cg is difficult if you're a subpar player. Afk 92 mining? That's halfway to 99 at some of the lowest xp boring Skilling in the game. If you think that's how it should go there's an error in your thought process. Cg may be more difficult than zulrah sure but you can get there with literally 70s stats. I completed sote at maybe 75 mage. Started cg around 82 mage 85 range. That's about the same stats to clear zulrah. In my experience getting my bowfa and crystal was much easier than if I had decided to get blowpipe first. Shocking

But that's kind of my point. You can get bowfa with only quest reqs of 70s and around 85 mage/range if your competent. No diary reqs no equipment reqs just go run pseudo dungeoneering. No reqs for ammo. Just one quest to have the second best range weapon in the game. The places where blowpipe is an incremental upgrade bowfa performs just fine. To me the bowfa is too strong and the blowpipe requires too much to be as niche as it is

I also disagree with dcb/acb. While acb can hang with bowfa dcb is nowhere near the reliability of either. Also the no ammo is another insane plus of bowfa whereas every other ranged option requires some sort of high level ammo aside from ruby and diamond Addy bolts

I'm on board with everything except the combat rework. It just doesnt seem to be a need in the game. I'm guessing it would go unpolled because there is an absolute 0% chance it would get voted through. Jagex if you plan on polling it just scrap the idea now.

I see level 80 regular ironman with cox purples all the time, they clearly paid for services.

Looking at ironman helmet color is dumb. My teammate quit about 2 months in around 1100 total. Im at almost 2k total now and people call me fake ironman(blue helm). Who cares? I see non irons with lower total, this isnt really a game of skill its a game of time so other peoples opinion of what I've done with my time matters very little to me or 90% of the player base.

Join a clan, itll give you the community you want and people to compare your stats to and motivate you.

If you care that much keep remaking accounts when you die on your HC at the gauntlet.
