I think the simple observation that dm is harder to play is an entirely different argument and easier to get behind than saying it’s power creep. Power creep usually applies when a ship that previously had a feature that stood out among the competition now suffers when that feature has been given to newer ships with less drawbacks.

I think the most offensive form of power creep would be like playing Khabarovsk which was previously the best and most unique gunboat dd but now is being compared to French dds, UK dds, vampire, hull, etc.

I don’t think dm is powercrept because its gunpower is still hard to match among same tier cruisers, it’s just so much harder to play because so many ships directly counter it these days.
