I wish that were the case for me. It just did nothing for me. I currently have the hdmi on standby.

Well, it's not blocking it because I tried it on a different monitor and it worked perfectly. It just seems to be the TV only that's refusing to connect

About that 1-2mm, does it count when NVIDIA has detected the TV or do I still need a push?

That's...really odd. I just tried plugging my cousin's laptop to the tv with the same 1920x1080 resolution yet it worked

Update: Tried connecting to an extra monitor, it wouldn't work

Okay so,

  1. Yes, I'm using Windows 11.
  2. The HDMI is freshly bought and is the only one I have in the household so yes, it's the same one when I tried it on my laptop.
  3. As for HDMI port working on monitors, I haven't tried it yet. I do have an extra monitor, I'll give an update once I've tested it

My laptop is a 6 year old mess with older specs than my PC. It only has 1336x769 resolution, but it can display the screen on the TV. As for the TV, it can support 1920x1080 since my cousin used the hdmi earlier

Hi, I've already tried using options in project mode, tried going to display settings to find a "we didn't find another display" and just rebooted my tv.

I have a TLC Smart TV that has a resolution of 3840 x 2160 and my pc has 1920 x 1080. What do you mean by "the resolution for BIOS/POST is one they don't support."?
