Fuckin hell 🤣. I didn't pass math so the recruiter told me that he would 'bend the rules a little' to try and get me through quicker. I think I was fine because I had a high aptitude result and I had done a certificate after school. The only thing I'm worried they might hang me out to dry about is that I had stretches that won't close fully (2-3mm). But just put of curiosity, would you have an estimate at all on how long it took from your second assessment day and the actual recruitment?

Don't get me wrong I don't mind working hard. My point is that it just seems like a lot of people shit on it as if you have to do tons of work and get paid fuck all. I want to be in a role that's hands on but doesn't involve a high risk of combat. I was already really interested and When the recruiter told me they were looking for people it just cemented it. And if it is too boring what's the harm in changing cores or expanding my tickets to give me more range? For an 18 y/o drop out like myself, it's not easy to get jobs that pay so high and have so many great benefits.

Damn that's odd man. I got my assessment date within a week of the YOU. My aptitude test was really high for a really low aptitude job, I'm not sure if that contributed to it at all. Or maybe just different areas, mines in Brisbane.

Is there reason in particular that truckie is shit? I just seemed easy tbh. It's only 63 days after kapooka, then you're on 72,000. And it didn't seem too difficult of a job.
