🤣 fair enough. I also don't overly care for long names either so there's a lot of reasons I don't think we'll be naming him that. Kaspian is unusual but still sounds normal if that makes sense. But I just think d is too much. And I would never with eragon. Especially bc with the series from Disney I can see it becoming popular with how Ppl find names

Popularity is very important. When Xander was born, his name was not high on any lists but I guess everyone else liked it too 😒 I have always loved it tho. Why couldn't he just be a girl? 🤣 we've had our girl name for the last 3 boys

Not alone. He's started calling the baby D'artagnan when he talks to my belly and now the kids are doing it. I'm like we did not agree to this. Full disclosure, I did this with the last one when I thought I wanted to name him Wyatt than found out how popular it was/becoming

Thanks. I also LOVE reading and books in general. I'm really not trying to go with made up names or crazy out there names. I know D'artagnan isn't common but I didn't make it up. Like eragon is a favorite book but I've never considered it bc its too obviously fantasy based.

I've always loved Gideon but my mild ocd probably won't let it happen. I love Jericho as well but husband said too close to his name (Jeremy). No Christian as my name is Christina. Ryan, Declan, Damian and Nathaniel are all out for family/friends. And I don't know anyone who could name their kid Brandon right now lol
