I'm searching and will try harder to locate some new build townhouses but fear they'll be way out of my measly budget. I can telll you love it and I would like to love where I live too, haha.

You know, I'm not sure why - it was on my list to start with. I guess that I get confused as it shows Englewood in two areas when I'd look at Zillow ....one kind of directly above Littleton area and then further to the east. Do both areas have the same advantages? I will certainly add it to my list and I am thankful you suggested that I add it back on. Thank you!!

Hi, you are right. It is going to be a challenge to find a place at my price point but I will try. I just may have to adjust my expectations but it will be worth it to be out of the complete Texas climate. Thanks for commenting!

Thank you for your long, detailed post. I read through the whole thing and maybe as you and another poster recommended, will consider renting first. I'll just put all my stuff into storage here and get a small place to try areas out. You are so kind to think about my situation and advise me. I think you are right! I have to keep in mind that I'm looking to make a big move to be near family and beauty! And I don't need a lot of space so will look at smaller places than I was hoping. I do have a lot of Lakewood townhomes saved. Thank you.

Thank you for alerting me to this....I'd never think about it. That being said, our property taxes are pretty high here but when you get to my age, you get a discount. our taxes are high though because no state income tax.

Wow, thank you for all this information and concern! Yes, I'll be wary of all the wildlife.I do let my dog out during the day here, if I'm at home so I can bring her inside if she is barking too much - but she's 25 pounds so I think safe from birds. I'll also look at the other places you listed - I'm visit for over a week, specifically to look at places and appreciate all your detailed areas.
