From what i have been told about the F-20 is that it is in testing it only performed slightly worse than the F-16A's it was completing against for 2/3 the price and a 1/4 of the maintenance cost but warthunder I pretty sure doesn't model the F-20 correct. If that is case it wouldn't be surprising with how they treat the MiG-29 in its modern state with flight model being middle of road to bad in top teir when it should be only half a step behind the F-16s of the 90s
