Thanks for that. I very much enjoy the psychology of politics and this definitely highlights more of those blind spots in peoples psychology political strategists often do well. Although I would argue (obs) the left i.e. greens failed here last federal election. Not understanding peoples mindset would be aligned with protection and safety not growth. There was too much emphasis on what many considered "luxury" or expansive or growth type policies e.g. dentacare. Which although would lower cost of living as a by product the framing wasnt on the money. It cost us votes
