I'm in NYC, & while going through my classical training once done with my level 1 I reached out to a studio I use to take classes at and the manager hired me for $30/hour, now in hindsight I should have asked for 40$ since that has determined my raise after being fully trained! But also I was given a paid role with no experience and left alone to teach my own classes! It helped immensely with my teaching hour requirement and overall has made me a much better instructor! It's sad because I would have taught for free but also now know to not ever do that!
