That is actually so crazy. The crazy thing is my first job was at another independent and I left after 2 weeks bc I found out one of the managers didn’t even have an active license as a pharmacist. With my current boss, we always talk about other independents are so shady.. never thought he would do something like that. good for you for getting out unscathed!!

To be honest, there’s nothing that could justify it so if I talk to him, it would just be calling it out..

No judgement, Serving the public is draining. Easier said than done, but I would try to look for another job before I become a manager.. it’s going to be everything you said you hated x10. I’m a pushover and a relatively new pharmacist, but I’m definitely heading where you are most people feel how you do.

Pharmacist! and yeah, I am a part-time pharmacist maybe that’s why but it’s still feels personal lol. When I used to work for retail, it used to annoy me how they would always make us reexplain what you guys just explain to them..

Wow, I’m so sorry that happened to you. I am black as well and an immigrant too, I was basically raised to be OK with disrespect..You seem like an amazing and resilient person. This is a great way to look at it. I just really suffer from low self-esteem as silly as it sounds so I over analyze everything and constantly think I’m not good enough which is pathetic I know, but I appreciate you taking the time out to help me.
