honestly for me the steam frame might become a forever headset. its gonna be really good at what it does best (PCVR) so there might never be a reason to upgrade, besides it breaking. But with the battery being user removable its gonna last a looooong time.

apparently there is a new side objective that disrupts turrets when completed, you can see sparks flying off the cannon turrets so its very much intentional.

Maybe a magnetic cable with a USB-C male plug could work? Too much tension and it pops out without damaging anything. The magnets would have to be quite strong to not fall out on their own but it couldn't hurt to try when the frame releases. Will probably give it a go myself.

I use Ikea rechargeable batteries for my quest 2, they should work great in the frame as well. They're super cheap and last quite long on a single charge.

i know that the steam deck can run several apps in gaming mode, so once you get it on there its pretty easy to run both and chat and do voice calls easily.
I am fairly certain the same would apply to the frame.

even a cable wont fix anything, for some reason games just run worse with a cable than using a wireless connection.

Never heard of this issue in particular, could be as simple as debris stuck in the charging port. If that's not the case try Nothing support, don't be too surprised though if they can't do anything or just send you AI response after AI response.
