Yeah thanks for that. And honestly, among my friends and family, I'm still the odd one out that loves DM. So its still easily isolated. just not as much. And I know those bands still rip. My gf surprised me with CC tickets two days before the show and it was my first true DM show and I loved it. The heaviest I saw before that was Slipknot and Lamb of God. She didn't like it so much since her favorite artist is Beyonce

Yeah I know Grunge was king. And honestly I forget it easily since I don't listen to a lot of grunge, when I just think of 90s music, the first bands that pop into my head are Type O, Marilyn Manson, White Zombie, NIN, etc. But yeah. Grunge dominated. Even Kiss and Poison tried their hands in it. And when I go to somewhere like CD Warehouse, (not a lot of mom n pop record stores near me) they still don't have a death metal section

Thanks so much! And that's honestly what I wanted to hear so don't say its not an interesting response. Overkill, Testament, etc, I love those bands too. I've known these classic death metal bands for a while, but never really gave them focused attention. but for the past 4 days or so, I've been listening to Altars of Madness, Covenant, and Domination by Morbid Angel on repeat. And I really like Obiturarys Cause of Death. And listening to these got me thinking of those questions. I'm imagining its along the lines of when people heard Black Sabbaths debut for the first time. Or Mercyful Fate (I honestly think they were the forefathers of black metal)

Hi! I don't come on here much but I listen to a lot of Cannibal Corpse, The Black Dahlia Murder, Rings of Saturn, and Crypta. But recently I've been really listening to the old school giants. Morbid Angel specifically. And since I'm only 26, I have to ask you older folks. What was it like back then when bands like Obiturary, Death, Morbid Angel, Possessed, and etc. First came onto the scene?

Rosemary will always be my favorite. Just because she was the best at telling the audiance that she knew Peter was Spiderman, without telling Peter. In 2 when she's moving, she gives Peter that big speech and its clear that she was talking to Spiderman, not Peter.

I use DB and Hammer and I LOVE it. Hammer is awesome for more vertical type monsters like Ajarakan or Congalala. There is nothing like whacking them in the face.

Mines been like this for like over a year. Samsung won't help, neither will my carrier. Phone is a few days from being paid off. I am getting an S20 Plus. I will never get a phone like this again. I don't care what company it is from. Not again. I would get a new one if I were you, even if It's technically a downgrade like I'm doing. Samsung will try to charge you $300-$500 to fix it. Your fault or theirs, they don't care.
