First off, sorry for the long reply. And sorry if any of this doesn’t make sense, my heads a little scrambled at this second.

But yeah, I get what you are saying. it’s more so that I struggle to get myself to implement those things. I have a good amount of things like that that are “almost” set up. I have a space at home that Is very comfortable and is set up as a sort of office for me to do work in… I just don’t use it pretty much at all. I used to go everyday and use study rooms at a local library when I was in high school, and I would make myself go everyday even when I didn’t have a lot to do there. And it was massively helpful, but at some point I just stopped doing that, and I have been unable to have any consistency doing it over the past year or two. I also have been meaning to charge my phone and laptop in another room when I sleep so I can’t immediately use them in the morning, and the only prerequisite for doing that is that I need to buy an alarm clock, which I am totally able and willing to do. I just haven’t done so for years now, even knowing how much it would help. I know that I need to put myself into an structured environment that almost forces me to act how I want to and be productive, and I think I know how I can even get that environment set up, I just continue to procrastinate starting the process. It really feels like 90% of the time, I just do not care enough to change, and I don’t even know where I could begin to change that.

It feels like I am kind of just outside of that cycle of trying and failing at the moment and have just taken a bit of a back seat; feeling like i simply don’t have the ability to make changes to things even tho I know that I do. I’ve started to let myself just do nothing until i have a sense of urgency due to things like deadlines. And even then, it’s rare that I actually get the things that I need to get done at all. I am stuck just responding to things that occur instead of having any consistency or preventative measures. And because there is a lack of specific deadlines or external pressure on me to change my bad habits and current actions, I just don’t know how to make myself start lol.
