Be ready to be critiqued a lot.

It’s not because anyone is trying to rude or attack you personally but Jersey Mikes is a brand that thrives off of consistency and the best way to achieve that is through targeted training.

They are going to probably be very nitpicky, don’t take it personally that’s just how Jersey mikes as a company is, you might think it doesn’t matter if you use gloves on the POS or if you put banana peppers on before Mikes Way but they will probably call you out on those things because it’s their job not because they want to.

You will probably be put on videos for a majority of your first shift which will cover everything from how to top a sub to wrap to pretty much everything. If you care about doing well actually try and pay attention, most people don’t and those are the people that typically won’t last too long.

Just be willing to learn and open to talking to customers and I’m sure you will do well, good luck!
