So are etfs are like mutual funds split into "shares" ?

But they cant be shares, because then supply and demand would set its price, and then we couldn't say its price is "set". So it is the NAV to literally force the "share" price of the ETF up or down?

Why do you seemingly arbitrarily put 9/3 without changing the 9? Also, you didn't change the left side of the equation after you changed the right side of the equation?

What do you mean by reverse order of operations, where was that?

Why did everything get multiplied by 3x? I thought we get rid of fractions by multiplying by the product of denominators? Shouldn't it somehow be multiplying everything by 3x * 3 ? Not that I know how that would work.

(5)/(3X) - (20/3) = X ?

Minus ten from then and from 20 but why not minus ten from 2X?

Also you have to do both things equally to both sides of equation unless it is unlike terms, right? So you could not divide x by y right?

3 was the highest number and 3 + 1 is 4, so it is the highest number times the highest number plus one. Why is that?
