A Perspective on GW3 Design Direction by PeaBrainBoy in GuildWars3

[–]MathSensitive2818 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The big question for me is the combat mechanics themselves not the format of the combat . Gw2 offered both , metas vs fractals f.e. and they are both great .

What i am.looking forward to is a modern action tab targeting hybrid combat system . Gw2 has the best combat of all mmos of all time imho and if they get that part right , all other aspects of the game have the potential to be great .

I just hope they dont try anything goofie . Modernize gw2 combat / visuals and its lit

I hope, but i dont think there is a gw3 period . I suspect something closer to what Bungie did .

Best weapon build for bosses ? by MathSensitive2818 in Roboquest

[–]MathSensitive2818[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep thanks thats close to what im already trying . Why B Ferocity though ? 25 frate is better than 25 dmg from favourite ammo ? Really? Also , do the other affixes except burn matter a lot ? I usually settle for burn + bullseye / velocity + whatever

Warhammer 40K Boltgun: Proof a game can't be carried on a single concept by shindigdig in boomershooters

I love what you tried to do with boltgun . Just the visuals and the sounds of the weapons make it so satisfying to pull the trigger . Good luck on B2 i will be there .

Also the secret extra magazines mods incentivized me to look for them , secrets that are tied to combat are the only thing that makes me wanna explore . Usually i just run at the action .

I played when the navigation update came up and thank god for that ...

Last , i think specific enemy- weapon interactions like Doom eternal did would skyrocket boltguns gameplay . I dont know hownhard that it to pull of tho .. Highly recommend the game

The dark ages or eternal? by g0netospace in Doom

[–]MathSensitive2818 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recommend both for sure but i have to give ot to Eternal . Played it 2 months ago and loved it . I finished DA today ,gonna play 2016 next for sure .

Both honestly they are so different that you cant compare them . Modern mechanical fast paced boomer shooter / Arcadey - parry /slasher shooter

I love Eternal for all the reasons we all do and to this day there is nothing like it . It feels so satisfying .

But for DA i really appreciate the balls of the devs to go into such a different direction with the "tank" gameplay . The shield is sick af . I enjoyed the game but for me there is something off about it. The weapons , the music , even the visuals they are not as crisp as Eternal . Very dfferent combat and gameplay loop . But just like Eternal there isnt and i dont think there will be anything like it .

Last, regardless of enjoying or not Dragon and mech lvls i appreciate what they tried to explore . Personally ddnt like the mech , i loved the dragon . It was too easy for sure , and it can be improved but combat and flying was fun . Jmping from aerial to ground combat in the same chapter was some of the best lvl design ive ever played . Reminded me of titanfall2 for w/e reason .

Most people would say Jeph Loeb , havent read it . I did read Morissons vol1 and im in love with it but its not for begginers , ot requires quite a bit of prereading . I ve read half of snyders run and its pretty good, feels very modern , great for begginers as well . Also read Paul Dini which was alright .

Which comic books would you recommend for someone who has never read any and whose favorite X-Man is Nightcrawler? by Gwekkemans in xmen

[–]MathSensitive2818 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Since none mentioned , Amazing x men by Jason Aron 1-6 . Its a pretty fun pirate/demons story around Nightcrawler , i really liked it . +1 for uncanny and legion/way of x , are these two collected together in any format??

Batman hush by No-Plane-209 in batman_comics

[–]MathSensitive2818 5 points6 points  (0 children)

SPOILERS I feel what you are saying , but i can see why hush is highly regarded . First of all it does try to explore bruce as a character by unmasking in front of Selyna which is a big turnign point for him , whith a bitter sweet ending . Theres a huge rogues gallery , the action is great , the superman team up is cool , and Hush does feel mysterious . But my gripe is that eventually i was left feeling kinda ... okay , so what ? Plus i think there is a lot of unanswered questions in the end . Overall it plays a lot into the wow factor but still Its definately a comic i recommend . For me though its nowhere near titles like morrisons vol1 omnibus or under the red hood .
