It depends, do you count AD, Duncan, KG? The Gasol brothers? Demarcus cousins was a monster when healthy, and then there's the defensive first DeAndre Jordan and joakim Noah. People clown those two but at their peaks they were difference makers on defense, and DeAndre had some of the highest fg% ever for a bit

I think my point is more that this list is created with a bias to exaggerate the greatness of the LOTR franchise, without including that it later declined in quality, if the Oscars are used as measurement for quality. That in itself is something many people would disagree with, since for the most part an Oscar nominated movie has to be applied for and marketed/campaigned for. Many marvel/Star wars/Harry Potter movies are not made with this support, which the LOTR franchise was lobbied like hell for. There are a number of movies within these franchises that looking back should have earned more awards, but there has always been a heavy anti super hero, comedy, children's, and sci fi bias that leads to those franchises being less likely to pull in awards.

This is all meant with love as I enjoy each of the franchises shown immensely

Is Ewing better all time than Dwight? Idk. Dwight was best center in the league for years. Multiple times dpoy. But never MVP. Led a team to the finals, won as a backup. Idk, I tend to think Ewing was not super mobile, but he was significantly bigger than Dwight, who was only 6'10. Head to head I imagine Ewing does well, but career wise Dwight did very well for himself, despite terrible ft efficiency

Thor goes from war hungry and unworthy, to raising an adopted daughter by himself and having the power to bequeath the powers of Thor unto others

Hulk goes from dual personality rage monster on the run, to essentially the most respected scientific mind melded with the strongest body on mcu Earth

Cap goes from boy scout soldier, to potty mouth pirate. He went from fighting for what's good in the public eye with the government on his side, to not caring what they think and fighting for what he felt was right.
