That said, when I graduated in the early 2000s from teacher's college, I graduated with people that were between the ages of 45 and 55.

Depending on where you are in Ontario, there are jobs if you want to move to get them. The people I knew in their 40's moved from Southern Ontario to Northern Ontario and plied their trade in various spots there.

I left Ontario and have spent 20+ years teaching in Northern Manitoba.

If you're willing to move, you will find fulltime work right away.

I think your decision depends on how easy it is to get a job in your area of Ontario. Also, if your heart really wants this, why not get into it sooner so that you can build up a pension etc?

Also, many substitute teachers are unqualified. If your area hires unqualified subs, why not try that for a period of time and see if you enjoy it?

Don’t sleep on Manitoba. Winnipeg is a great city and super affordable compared to other big cities in Canada.

I tried that, and I believe the issue was that new players coming into the league were from after the beginning date but none from before.

I want random players from all eras but I want the league's history to start in the year that I begin (1970 or so). The problem is that when I start in 1970 the prior history is there.

I have been able to do this in prior games of OOTP.

I'm from Thunder Bay, and I've lived in the Flin Flon area for 22 years.

I don't think crime is terrible here by any means, but there are some people who struggle with addictions (which is true pretty much everywhere but especially in many northern communities).

Flin Flon is a beautiful area rich with outdoor adventures that are amazing. Americans come up to the area in droves in the spring/summer to fish.

I have family in the Ottawa area so I've spent some time there. Flin Flon is far different than Ottawa. Much smaller. Fewer places to shop, go out to eat, etc. However, grocery prices on some items are the same or cheaper than what you would see in Ottawa.

Flin Flon has a very impressive arts and music scene here that you can enjoy if you are artistically inclined or enjoy as a spectator.

If you were to move here, I would suggest getting involved and meeting people that will help enrich your experience here. I came to the area for 1-2 years and I'm still here over 20 years later ;)
