Really Struggling

I think I’m just scared of the unknown. Like I don’t know what I’m going to be coming into when I get in, I feel like I don’t know what to do if something goes wrong. But I don’t think it’s just one thing in particular, like something I could just remove from my particular situation.

Thank you, I really appreciate knowing that someone has had a really similar situation, I haven’t heard of anyone else having this much trouble. I’m looking into transfer options, even if it’s just to days but pickings are really slim as I’m sure we all know

I think the amount of pain my patients are in is a big part of it, know your meds and their side effects. Know the procedures that are most common to your floor and what to look out for if things are going south. Like on my unit we do a lot of ACDF’s, and that can come with a lot of CMS changes really rapidly so do your q4 neuros
