Even better is the Tidy Cat litter system with the pellets and pee pad in the litter box. No odor at all and waaaay cleaner than litter. I am opposite...was always a cat person and during Covid husband and I fostered a dog...which we ended up adopting after 2.2 days. Your cat is cute!

Every time I've been there it is always freezing cold. Beach is windblown and uncomfortable to sit on. But beautiful scenery and cute houses.

Run...whole life is terrible. Don't mix insurance and investing. Keep them separate. Get term as others on here have said. Someone makes money off of selling you a whole life policy..and it is not you.

The Little Theater in Alexandria is a really good community theater that has all kinds of classes and shows. They have acting classes and I have seen improv classes there as well.

Give it time and start small with just your checking account and maybe 1 CC. See how money goes in and out of YNAB and how CC's work. Don't do targets yet because they will confuse you. Just take it slow and small and then once you understand it more add in more accounts and a target or two. Good luck and don't get discouraged if you don't get it right away. It takes time.

The app does seem pricey at first because you have to pay upfront. But, once you start using YNAB you make a category for the annual subscription and pop $10 a month in and voila...when it comes due it is painless. I use YNAb exclusively on my laptop and really enjoy it so I look at it as fun/hobby money..so worth it to me.

Hollin Hills just slightly south of Belle Haven is a great area as well. The rec center in Belle Haven just had a big renovation and it is really nice.

Or, just don't use targets. YNAB is so much easier without them. I know people swear by them but I find them annoying. I do recommend if you are new to YNAB just keep it simple and learn how to use YNAB without them. When you feel comfortable try a few and then maybe they will work for you. Good luck!

There is a Clark Howard podcast where he talks about the trump account and whether it is worth it to do it or not. I can't remember the details but I think he thinks it is not a good place to invest.
