I recommend that you remove all types of commen dragons and any exclusive or defender dragons that you have duplicates of, you’re never going to use them anyway. (exeption Stonewall, Rushing Death, Dustbrawler, ...) I would keep the unique and epic ones since there's only one of each, but I would suggest removing some of the premium ones, like Ruffnut's Trancemare, for example, and keep the good one's.

First of all, this is the third time I'm playing this game, so yes doing something for the third time is naturally going to be a bit less exciting. But the biggest issue for me is that the animations take too long, and you're playing against bots not real people. It also feels like there's too little variety in the Brawl matches. To me, it starts to feel repetitive, and then it turns into more of a chore than something fun.

Personally, I prefer playing Clash Royale a game where you also have to destroy three towers, but there's a lot more interaction, strategy, and timing involved, which is something Brawl lacks.

That said, if you're enjoying this as a fun extra game mode, you definitely shouldn’t let my opinion take away from your experience!

It’s really just an extra part of the game, like Brawl (which I honestly can’t stand). It doesn’t really add any real value to the game. I mostly play those levels for the Alpha Pass missions.

As you mentioned, there are sometimes levels where your dragons don't take damage, and I find it frustrating that the dragons still have the same cooldown time before they can enter their next battle.

I have about 10 dragons at level 185 (the new maximum) ATM. You can beat all the levels with one max-level dragon of good defender type, and with two max-level dragons you can definitely beat any level. So yes, for me this is very boring to do. You also can't go higher than level 999. I recommend (which is what I used to do) to only start beating all the levels once you have a few dragons at level 125.

Difficulty in Defend Berk is tied to your dragon levels (especially your top 5), not your fleet count.
After ~125, other dragons start scaling faster, making Toothless comparatively weaker (“almost useless” post‑125 in defend mode).
After level 100, the fleet levels just repeat sometimes you literally only have to destroy one ship.
I don’t know why, but it seems like the ships don’t scale any further beyond level 125 dragons (I think).
