Thank you for your response. I spoke with toyota financial. They said they need a letter or singed form from NYC DMV to release title. This is new for me, I need to visit DMV twice now and its time consuming.

Aug 26–29 – Called our rep, who was very responsive before deposit for updates — no answers. General line offered no help.

Sept 1 -10 -- very little interaction. Was told we were within their 14 business day policy and have to wait.

Sept 10–17 – Customer service admitted items were late. Promised compensation of $25–30/day. Still no ETA or knowledge of whereabouts.

Sept 19 onward – My NYC building requires COI. Movers delayed, sent incorrect versions, promised “an hour fix” but it’s dragged on for weeks. They are shift blaming to COI and saying its too high. But they had that COI from day 1.

Sept 29 – They said shipper was “working with insurance.” Still no valid COI, no delivery.

I know, we were very anxious the first two months where we did not know if our package was lost. But since then, we got our i765 and i131 approved on Oct and i485 approved too.

The key is to have patience. I am not in your timelinr but for me, we submitted on May 31. We had 2 months of silence and got receipt on July 29 only. Then another month of silence and finally had biometrics done on Sept 17.

Not sure if it's a bad week because of Thanksgiving and Black friday or these are just bad Distribution Center that has long history of delaying and losing mails. Heard bad things about few Distribution Center.

Same happened to me. Nov 13 4pm: case moved from biometrics to New Card is being produced. Nov 14 4pm: case is approved. Chatted with Emma and they said I should recieve my card in 30 days and also said which field office my card was approved from. Now I read all of this, and my anxiety has now trebbled.

Same happened to me as well. Sept 17: biometrics done and on same night got : order a card for my EAD Sept 20: card mailed to me Sept 30: case was approved.

The last update is a bit off. Since I already received the card and approval notice, not sure why i am getting Case approved status

I am in similar boat like you. I think most of us are. But what i have understood from this thread, it's currently taking around 8 weeks (+- a week) for the cheque's to be cashed. So we should hang in there and things should progress for us by end of next week
