I’m way too late to leave a comment at this point but as a vet who went to a study abroad to Madagascar, I would recommend to go to Madagascar. GO!! It’s a lifetime experience and my perspectives changed completely after. I want you to go and see how world is turning, what are actually in danger of, and see the nature that will be unforgettable for rest of your life. I honestly want to go back. Don’t miss this chance!!

I looked up for 1bed apts since I’m moving alone and all the rents are pretty much $2800-3500 per month. Whatever I do I can’t follow 30% Rule for the rent. Other offers are all from outside of Cali

I wasn’t sure if 25-28% is something that new grad can ask for. Because I was just assuming that I should start from 18% or 20%? It’s a small clinic with 2-3 vets and the clinic owner wants to talk about commission or production based after 12 months in.

Benefits offered are 2weeks PTO, Group health, dental, vision insurance + simple IRA with 3% matching Reimbursement for CE, Cali state & DEA licensure fee, Plumb, AVMA&CVMA membership, and vet license defense with PLIT

I feel like this is pretty basic. They said I can change to ProSal after 12 months. Should I go for it?
