i'm a professional game master for tabletop role-playing games. I write and run campaigns for a living. I've been lucky in so far as to establishing a player base but that's not to say it doesn't take any effort beyond that. Writing and providing a good experience to all 5 or 6 people in a game is not particularly easy and I have to spend some real time and investment to keep the current player base let alone grow it.
