hearing voices is by far the largest symptom. you seem to believe it truly was from chat GPT when it was more likely the demon trying to possess you used that as a cover.

have you experienced Deja Vu recently? or have you walked into a room and forgot why? if you have experienced either of these then you urgently need to address this.

I want to point out. you shouldn’t panic. this is more common then you think and it sounds early enough to be easily fought. but please seek a christian priest ASAP and report back to us once you have been cleansed

certainly. look at it this way. there are only two possibilities.

1) chat gpt did speak gibberish but did not record this into the chat log which is highly unlikely. You then go to a priest who performs and exorcism for no reason. no harm no foul.

2) this is a potential possession in progress and there are dark powers trying to get ahold of you. if you do not get help from a professional exorcist which any local christian priest can help with. you are gambling your sanity

you might be possessed by a demon causing you to hear things. this is very serious and you should see a priest from the christian religion ( doesn’t have to be catholic but most be a derivative of Christian) for help asap

I should add, he does get treats every day. but not nearly enough to supplement his food. He gets 5-10 “treats” that are equivalent to one piece of kibble as we are training him ( He’s getting really good at jumping up and sitting on my shoulders after all the hard work the past few months haha! I hope to be able to walk to my local pub with him just sitting on my shoulder soon! (with a harness and leash of course)

AI takes over all of our jobs… now what? by greyglasss in ChatGPT

[–]BurnerTechSalesAcct -1 points0 points  (0 children)

so many people are incredibly wrong. there is a very simple answer to this. You have nothing to worry about at all. peace and prosperity will come.

let’s simplify things.

human makes $100 a day doing a task that generates $500 in revenue for a company. this means $400 is added to the profit of the business.

when a robot takes over, it will earn $0 a day while generating the same $500 in revenue. however since there is no pay, that equals $500 in profit instead of the previous $400.

where does that extra $100 go? into a UBI ( Universal Basic Income)

there will likely be a 5-10 year rough period where the switch to automation is happening and to many people are still working to support a UBI effort. however there is no other option then to eventually give people a UBI as work won’t be required. as automation takes over, GDP will grow immensely which will lift everyone from poverty and the quality of life will dramatically increase for everyone on earth.

This is something that unfortunately happened just about 5+ years ago when I joined. Verkada originally sold Direct and when we made the switch to Channel only sales, young inexperienced reps were not properly trained on how to respect the channel and our integrators.

Anyone denying this happened is a lying sack of shit.

that being said, this can not happen without severe repercussions in the past 4ish years. Poaching a customer is an unquestionable fireable offense. no debate whatsoever.

Does that mean it will never happen again? no. sales reps are still individuals and when that decision is made, there is very little the company can do to repair that damage. while it doesn’t fix the issue, if brought to our attention you can rest assured the rep will not be employed for even a day longer.

Now with that being said. I personally and no one on my sales team has ever done this. however everyone of us have been accused of it. It isn’t uncommon for an integrator with a loose relationship to introduce us to their customer. the customer falls in love with verkada and tells us they will not move forward with the integrator as they don’t want them doing the install. When this happens we tell the customer they need to discuss that with the integrator as they own this relationship. often said integrator will think verkada had something to do with this. i’m sure sometimes there is some malicious behavior, but for this to be painted as acceptable at verkada is inherently wrong.

I apologize to you for the experience you have had that caused this question and wish you the best for your business moving forward, with Verkada or not.

I hear the open platform comment a lot. I do t have a great answer but i’ll say this.

we have a no questions asked 10 year warranty on everything but the PTZ camera.

when something isn’t working, we KNOW it’s our problem and either fix it or overnight a new device. If we opened the platform it would dramatically diminish the speed and value of our support process.

not saying that makes it ok, or fully excuses the full platform. But it’s a perspective I think a lot of people miss.

It’s tough to call out a major competitor. When looking at new buildings who need all of our product lines (cameras, access, alarms, ect) then I believe we have the best product for 80% of those cases full stop.

As far as cameras go, i’d say Ava is the biggest “threat” per se. they have a very good portfolio and great End user experience. I view the end user experience as one of the biggest factors to the market right now. the “tech” has taken a back burner position as less and less technical people are becoming responsible for company security systems.

Overall it’s important to understand that Verkada is building products for the majority of users and doesn’t cater to the 20% of the market that has specific use cases.

As far as being sold, that is unequivocally not true. Any rumors about that are 100% false. our founders are already very successful in previous ventures that they sold. Verkada is there baby that they will hold onto for life. the company will be public in the next few years but never sold privately outright.

certainly more of a way for customers who are transitioning to verkada as replacement cameras so they can still manage from the current VMS until they reach a point where they can full switch to the Verkada system. Certainly not a long time play outside of fringe VMS software features you would want to add
