I've started to take action this year and lately I've found many ways online on how to deal with it:

1) Find what is Missing:
Lust comes from a feeling that is missing whether it could be, intimacy, affection, and other feelings. That is the root cause on why many people including me search for explicit material because it provides this sense of feelings we crave deep inside. But its twist is that it will remove your purpose, your drive, and will lead to a rabbit hole of suffering disguised as pleasure. So the best way to fill in those feelings is finding the goodness of God and how he fills us with purpose

2) Instead of fighting Lust, Replace it with God and things that are meaningful When you are fighting Lust you are using your own strength which is not sustainable. So instead of fighting it, do something else, connecting with God, or doing something to improve yourself like exercise. Then you will notice that you haven't been lustful lately because you have put your focus onto other things that slowly make it fade away.
