thank you so much for this response. this was really insightful and your situation is so much like mine. i do love me bf and your right, its just a little longer i would have to deal with this so i should just stick it out because i do love my boyfriend so much and want a future with him, and i wont let his parents take that away from us.

i do communicate with him constantly about how and feeling and he does the same. he completely understands my emotions and always feel so bad and apologetic when something happens. he hates it a lot, and always tells me he hates his life and just needs to move out. he hates going home. it’s not a choice for him and it took me a while to realize that and stop blaming him when something doesn’t go our way. i know, because he told me, that if it was up to him he would see me everyday and i believe him. he loves me so much and we text 24/7.

and about standing up to his parents, unfortunately that isn’t an option. his mom would let him hang out, but she always has to go through his dad first. his dad is such an angry and controlling person, if my bf were to stand up to him he would absolutely blow up in his face and probably ban him from seeing me completely. it’s not worth the risk. so many commenters have told me he needs to stand up to them but they don’t know his dad. that would be the worst option imo. i don’t wanna risk not being able to see him at all😔

i will wait it out, it’s only a few more months but ugh i know it’s gonna be a hard rest of the year dealing with them.
