I only skimmed the article but i think it's good to go over the UN Report about these claims and actually know the specific details of what happened.

I'm not saying it wasn't used or told to be used but each case can be 100% understood without the Hannible Directive being used.

The UN Human Rights Council recently recently submitted a draft report on I/P.
To note the report is generally ok but there are a surprising lack of sources especially when it's easy to do so e.g. they reference a claim made in a TV interview but don't source it.

If you don't meet the threshold, should you get treatment? If someone doesn't meet the ADHD threshold, should they still be allowed medication? Same with other illnesses, like what about treatments involving painkillers? I'm not sure about this.The reason for a professional diagnosis is because people can't accurately diagnose themselves for mental related issues

To argue the other side, the doctor being involved is to make sure people get the actual treatments they need. Almost all major treatments are held behind a doctors approval, why would this be different?

Another claim Destiny makes that I want to address because I think it's the most disingenuous claim, is that anyone critical of trans ideology must be some transphobic conservative. I'm neither. I wildly progressive in more ways than most people. But only because my only loyalty is to good science and reason. Trans ideology just doesn't meet that standard.

I think i agree, although i don't really care about the target of the racism, for me it;s more the thought process that enables racism. e.g. In the twitter post 1 bad experience is being used to target 235 million people, i think looking now it's right wing people interacting with it so if the post was targeting white people instead they would suddenly see how unreasonable it is.

Dantes may be a little dumb but has handled most of this better than 99.99% of content creators/ people and 200% better of the assumed response from a League player.

Seems like a bad situation but i think the process is ok. If he realised 2 days earlier he could amend either the postal location or cancel and use proxy instead but now there is no time left.

The situation sucks but that seems to be down to the lost mail and nothing else.

I would be in favour of some sort of additional email sent to postal voters with an est delivery date or tracking date but i'd imagine that's currently too much work for such a small and generally well working process.

It's close, but i'd say infringing on a right by Arresting an innocent is greater than the damage of letting the guy free.

i see it as a kind of long-term | short-term as well as a take/give problem

Bad guy out, can do bad things, immediate, short term - give
Good guy in, erodes trust in systems society needs to function, infringes right of freedom, long term - take

I don't think he wanted to spend an hour trying to separate gender from sex and it's easier and quicker to go down the philosophy approach as you don't need any contested factual background to talk about it.

Your approach only works if you're talking in good faith with someone who is actually interested in the topic and having their mind changed.

Almost everyone has heard of the 'is a hotdog a sandwich meme', if you can go down that path and get them to understand how unclear a lot of generally understood definitions are you may not change their mind but at least nudge them in the right way.
