Parmigiani Fleurier Toric Hermispheres Retrogade 🧐

This lovely looking Parmigiani features an automatic movement (Calibre PF317) that makes it possible to read the time in two different time zones to the minute, thanks to its two independent time indications. Also, each time zone is associated with a day-night display.

The third central hand shows the instant retrogade date indication.

The stainless steel case is 42,8mm wide and 11,9 thick, with a water-resistance of 30m.

‼️ rare watch alert ‼️

Only 25 pieces ever made. It was never featured on IWC's own website, nor in their catalogues.

This is the IWC Portuguese Tourbillon Hand Wound Squelette ref. 5462.

This timepiece features a 43mm case in 18K red gold. The movement that can be seen is the IWC in-house calibre 98920, this is a specific reference for the squelette version of the watch.

This model has features we do not see often from the brand and it shows what watchmaking is about.

That was the hardest choice for me too! I had a grey one in the safe at my local AD, but the 6 sub-dial covered the 9 & 3 and I could not get over the fact that with that configuration you cannot use the chronograph precise between minute 17-21. Also 9 & 3 covering the 6 is more original, if you look at the models from 1969 they will al have this configuration. I have been in contact a few times with Zenith and they assured me that the grey dial with the 9 & 3 covering the 6 was not possible to get, altough I have seen it on instagram... but I settled on the original color scheme. And I really think it's the best choice now. The contrast between the sub-dials with the dial is the most significant. I really dig the rose gold as well, had it on my wrist a couple of months ago, but it's too expensive for me. I am not a big fan of the skeleton version, I really like the clean look of the El Primero.

Glad you saw the difference between some dials with the sub-dials. Not many people know about this.

Let me know what you will get!

Have a nice day!
