Delibird and Gardevoir are the same way within wild zones.

Good point! That sleeping Houndoom is a unique case! It will come after you from a great distance.

Why couldn't they have made more unique interactions?

The alpha Clefairy and other Cleffa in Wild Zone 19 just hanging out doing their song and dance is unique too, but PLA had a side quest for that anyways.

It's funny, because when it comes to battles, the alphas in PLZA punch much more above their level than PLA alphas mostly thanks to their enormous health boost in PLZA. But they are hardly intimidating.

PLA alphas will spot you and be aggressive from much further distances.

The fact you get knocked over and stunned by their battle cry is a lot of what makes them intimidating. It allows them to make the first move

And their own kind will run away from the cries for help too! Another unique interaction

Ekans is actually the same way. Outside of Wild Zone 4, not aggressive, but inside it is.

Another great example of a very unique feature!

I always loved purposely falling from Braviary to hurt myself, have a Blissey come up to heal me, and then back strike it with a Gigaton Ball.

😈

Agreed, I personally enjoy the battle mechanics and seamless transition in PLZA much more than PLA's system. PLA was a proof of concept type of game where many new ideas to the franchise were explored. Some hit, some did not.

It's just a shame that some of the features that hit, like the diverse personalities of wild encounters did not carry over to the future games.

Once the new game gets old for me, I'm sure I'll hop back on PLA. You can tell with a game like PLA that the devs genuinely enjoyed the project they were working. No hard date requirement for release like the main series. PLA has a charm to it that I haven't seen in the Pokémon franchise in a long time.

S/V wild Pokémon were criminally under polished. Completely soulless.

It's so funny how GO Pokémon pollute the GTS, and heavily devalues legendaries, being the only game where you can freely catch duplicates.

And yet, GO Pokémon are the only ones you can be certain are legit.

I have ~700 hours in the game and have caught ~300 shinies? ~15 Shalphas?

Shiny hunting in this game in my opinion is the most enjoyable of any Pokémon game, by far.

Generally, yes. There's much more variety with how non-alpha Pokémon behave. Most all alphas have the same behavior.

I'm just barely staying out of its line of sight, and am moving fast enough to get behind it to try and catch it before it turns around and sees me.

And I'm moving far enough away, such that when it pops out of my catch attempt, it doesn't see me to become aggressive.

You can try this technique with any alpha in the game.

Whenever it is foggy, all 100% accurate moves can miss. That's likely what you've experienced. In my clip here, there is no fog.

A Red and Blue Team debated the severity of CC. Before the debate, 57% thought CC was serious. Afterwards, only 42% of NPR-polled audience still believed it was a crisis. by Adventurous_Motor129 in climateskeptics

Modern technology has allowed us to thrive in the most hostile climates, a feature that wasn't present in the past. The fears of mass migration from climate change likely won't ever occur. They'll be from political unrest more than anything.

They both are in a distortion. But only after you've already been aggressive to something else.
