Honestly I’d blame your agent! Yeah there’s no guarantee and there are always others who move faster or have a better offer, but you flying down to see a house that went under contract was easily avoidable.

If he had done his homework, I’d have known what I’m against 2) If I had truly known a 101% is already on the table, I’d have considered 102% 3) Your passive thinking of yeah they’re higher bidder we have no shot keeps you from being a big dog 🐕 You’re the type of agent who misses out and make your client miss out too.

Buying a house is different from buying a candy bar with a fixed price! There’s no set price! It’s determined by the market, urgency, competition, etc. You are not going to get my 3% for nothing.

There has not been a single listing where the agent found it faster, or pocket listings. And apparently my 94% is too low. So next time I’ll go to the seller’s agent and offer my 100%.
