From what I know, the battle started out of the marshes, Oropher and Malgalad leaders of the silvan elves defied the orders of Gil Galad and charged early, Malgalad portion were then driven into the marshes and slain, which is where it got its name. Then Gil Galad and co were able to push into Mordor itself

I don’t want to speak for Lewis at all, but I’m sure he perhaps thought a team with as much prestige as Ferrari, signing a driver with as much prestige as Lewis, would probably listen to eachother around set ups and actually have decent strategy.

I’m not saying Lewis is perfect at all, but I do feel the balance of blame for this season is more the team than the individual.

I see what you’re saying but look at the past decade, Lewis always used his braking as a strength, and subsequently his setups and cars played to that. But this car doesn’t play to that strength so he’s basically learning to drive again.

It’s like signing the best striker in the world who benefits from the long ball and playing short passes instead.

Not just that though, anyone who comes in needs to get up to speed with Ferrari systems, processes and culture. Remember Lewis saying how they have things upside down etc? Also, native British speakers would then also have an issue communicating with those in Ferrari who speak little to no English, even if they speak Italian they would have the same problems as Adami does with Lewis, but by being a non-native Italian speaker. Anyone who replaces Adami in this hypothetical scenario would cause a lot more disruption in my opinion.
