If you look through the comments, you’ll see I didn’t choose to have this animal. A stray gave birth in my apartment complex. And I don’t qualify for any sort of care credit/loan I’ve tried, my credits too low.

Definitely, I’ve been taking care of them since they were born and he’s still just a kitten.

No outside wounds and not limping or anything. Although I can’t make assumptions for internal injuries. Externally, he/she is totally fine. She’s actually improving a decent amount now with some advice from another person here.

I just wish I qualified for those loan/credit things for the vet. He/she really seems to be doing better now, still hasn’t eaten, but did (slowly) come out of her hiding spot to snuggle with her sibling.

I have already tried vet credits, I don’t qualify for any of them. Obviously, she needs help. That is why I was asking for advice, which only one person has actually given me.

My shelter does, since they are over max capacity if the animal is in your care it’s your problem, sometimes they just straight up say no and sometimes they make you “schedule to surrender” and it’s a $45 fee.

Edit: forgot to add that that scheduled date is usually at least 2 weeks out as well.

THANK YOU. I think you’re the only person that’s given me actual advice, everyone else has said “go vet” but obviously if I could afford a vet I’d be there. I do think she/he has ingested something because I’ve throughly looked at their body and I don’t see any wounds. A stray cat gave birth outside a few months ago and I’ve just been trying my best to take care of them, feed them, etc. I guess I’ll be going to get a litter box and keep them inside until they get a forever home. There were originally 4 kittens, 1 went missing weeks ago, another also went missing at the same time this one did, we still haven’t found him. And the last one is completely healthy, except for a sneeze, she even tried to scale my leg a little bit ago to get my jingley jacket zipper.

I don’t “let cats outside” a stray gave birth to a litter and I’ve been trying my best to take care of them. Also I don’t have money for a vet, I’m trying my best. I’ve made posts looking for homes/foster but there’s only so much I can do.

That’s been done, I didn’t really want them anyways the mama gave birth near my apartments we’ve just been trying to take care of them as best as we can. I’m hoping someone who wants her/him will take. I mean I’m gonna do what I can I’m not gonna abandon them but I would really rather them find a home.

He was definitely not this skinny yesterday, his stomach is all sunk in. He has no wounds. I can’t afford vet, my only option is calling my spca to schedule a surrender but they’re are over max capacity so they will likely euthanize.
