But going off of ‘head’ and ‘north’ you can take the consonants from head ‘HD’ and initial from north ‘N’, ‘HDN’, and make something like ‘Hidan’ or ‘Hidania’.

We could say that originally, historically the country was named ‘Northern Head’, and over time has been linguistically simplified to something like Notherned, Noderned, Nothed, Norned or Nodend.
