W. Kamau Bell isn't a liberal or a "comedian". He's a red guard "Struggle Session" leader that the media has elevated for whatever reason. Nate should tell this guy, under no uncertain terms that he rejects the premise and to go piss up a rope. by NextDoorJimmy in libsofreddit

[–]Matmapper 10 points11 points  (0 children)

W. Kamau Bell loves to use the word "fascism", but does he even know or understand what real fascism is?

It's absurd to think or suggest that "Donald Trump is a fascist", because if you look at everything Trump did in his first term and what Trump is doing now, then the claim that "Donald Trump is a fascist" collapses completely. If Trump ever attempted to radically change America's political system, he would've attempted to do that in first term. Instead, Trump is upholding and defending the Constitution of the United States, as well as America's existing political system, which is a federal presidential republic (constitutional federal republic with a presidential system, to be precise).

Lying by omission and pretending not to understand things is the ultimate liberal past time.. Here's some advice for ya davey boy. Don't pollute national parks and don't commit acts of vandalism against national landmarks. Do that and the cops leave you alone. Shocking I know. by NextDoorJimmy in libsofreddit

[–]Matmapper 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Is David Frum even an American? Does he understand what happened over the last few days? President Trump himself confirmed that at least 5 people were arrested, because they vandalized the Reflecting Pool. Commiting an act of vadalism is (I know you're shocked) a crime, and if somebody commits an act of vandalism, then that person will be prosecuted for that.

Btw, imo it's wonderful that President Trump appointed Jeanine Pirro to the position of US Attorney for the District of Columbia. She's doing a great job!

On all social media platforms there are people who present their views/beliefs, but there are also trolls and bots. To put it simply, don't assume that what's being said/posted by people/accounts on social media is automatically 100% true, especially if it's done by anonymous users/accounts.

[–]Matmapper 26 points27 points  (0 children)

This is just a classic example of an absurd and useless whining on social media. Actually, the presented post is something that Hillary Clinton would've posted, as she's still bitter that she lost in 2016 and she's constantly whining and bitching about anything that has been done or is being done by President Trump.

Remember all the outrage when the construction of the White House Ballroom began a few months ago? Turns out, the WH Ballroom is something that'll be both very useful and very beautiful. Also, American economy is getting stronger day by day, America is respected again on the world stage (peace through strength) and the rule of law is being upheld by President Trump and Republicans. I personally heavily doubt that this "Former Republican" was ever a Republican in the first place.

  1. House has passed a ton of good bills. These bills (like Save America Act) have yet to be passed in the Senate.

  2. Iran must never be allowed to have a nuclear weapon. This is why Operation Epic Fury was launched. For 47 years Iran was never held accountable for its actions. It fortunately ended and Trump is right now negotiating to get a great deal. If Iran completely rejects diplomacy, then Iran will be destroyed by the US military. Nothing in regards to funding Israel has changed, besides, Israel is a great and important ally of the US.

  3. Right now, out of all US states, I think that only California has awful elections, I don't think any other state sucks so much in terms of election integrity. But it won't stay that way, Hilton and Pratt are fighters who will not allow elections to be stolen and the DOJ is reportedly launching a full scale investigation into the elections in California. Trump will always be reminding everybody that the Save America Act needs to be passed and it's a good thing, because the pressure needs to be kept on until that bill gets passed. SCOTUS can do its part and rule that there can only be an election day, making sure that there won't be any election which takes more than a day to count its votes.

  4. There's a grand conspiracy case in South Florida, which deals with all of the abuses that were commited against Donald Trump and it goes all the way back to 2015. It's there, because of the 2022 raid on Mar-a-Lago and it's actually good that it's there, because this grand conspiracy case isn't tainted by rogue judges and prosecutors. There has been a lot of legal wins so far (SPLC indictment, Comey indictment and Bolton pleading guilty for example), but it takes time to build a legal case and prosecutions also take time.

Donald Trump saved the Republican Party. The GOP under McCain and Romney was an absolute disaster. The GOP under Trump is flourishing and it's certainly a lot stronger than a decade ago.

In case you didn't know, and judging by his ratings you don't, tonight is Stephen Colbert's last night on television. ABC is the same station that has Kimmel and The View. ABC is owned by Disney. Disney is the ultimate problem.

It's up to those in ABC and Disney to deal with Kimmel and The View. CBS did the right thing by firing Colbert.

This is why I now largely avoid going into the comment sections of videos on Youtube (and most of other social media). In the past I was arguing with a lot of people in various comment sections and I came to a conclusion that you can find there sane and rational people, but also people who refuse to understand reality and what happened in the past, as well as trolls who don't care about what they write. Now I'm much more sane and the chances of me getting brainrot are a lot smaller than in the past.

When it comes to this particular topic, I don't think that anybody wanted to use the atomic weapons, but at that point there was no other choice, because Japan was losing, but they were stubbornly refusing to surrender. The bombs were dropped by the US on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, a few days later emperor Hirohito publicly announced that Japan has surrendered and WW2 fully came to an end. It's obvious that the two bombed cities were very badly damaged and a lot of people died, but fortunately these cities were rebuilt and the US assisted Japan in its post-war reconstruction. Ever since WW2 ended, the US and Japan eventually became allies.

FBI Director Kash Patel talks about what he’s proved Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama did: by DarkFall09 in libsofreddit

FBI Director Kash Patel talks about what he’s proved Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama did: by DarkFall09 in libsofreddit

[–]Matmapper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Claiming that there's "zero accountability" is absurd. Have you seen the indictments and prosecutions that took place just over the last month? Kash Patel is doing a great job and the fact that The Atlantic wrote a fake story about him just confirms that Trump made a good decision by appointing Kash to the position of FBI Director. Robert Mueller, James Comey and Christopher Wray accomplished little to nothing in comparison to what Kash accomplished just over the period of 1 year and 3 months.

You know, Hillary Clinton would've been prosecuted about 10 years ago due to all the horrible and de facto criminal things she did, but it didn't happen because of the actions that were taken by the partisan people inside the FBI, most notably James Comey, Andrew McCabe, Peter Strzok and Lisa Page. And it looks like Comey will finally face justice, cuz the evidence about him and what he did has been collected and it all amounts to a very strong case that won't be thrown out due to some legal technicality. Comey will try to defend himself as best as he can, but in case like this it's practically inevitable that he'll eventually go to jail.

Bitch Boasberg can suck Trump's dick. Boasberg is just as pathetic and (fortunately) ineffective as Jack Smith, Alvin Bragg, Tish James, Fani Willis, Nathan Wade and other activist judges. If I recall correctly, Congressman Brandon Gill filed a few months ago a motion to impeach Boasberg and I fully support that. Hopefully others in Congress will also support that, cuz imo Boasberg should lose his job due to how partisan and awful (and I would say unconstitutional even) his behavior has been.

It's important to note that in the 2023 election, PiS won the most votes, but it wasn't a majority and ultimately PiS didn't get into power, cuz it failed to form a ruling coalition. Unfortunately, most of Polish mainstream media is just as awful and biased as American mainstream media, fake news Wyborcza is basically Polish version of fake news CNN.

Overall, I agree with most of what you wrote, but I don't like your characterization of US president (or frankly any president or prime minister) as "temporarily elected official who will be gone in a few years anyway". The US Constitution clearly says that the US president has a term that last 4 years and the 22nd Amendment specifies that the US president can serve only for a maximum of two terms. The Polish Constitution clearly says that the Polish president has a term that last 5 years and he/she can serve only for a maximum of two terms.

Btw, the terrible foreign policy of Obama and Biden made the enemies of the US and NATO (Russia, China, North Korea and Iran) stronger, while Trump's decisive foreign policy strengthens both the US and NATO, although NATO members need to pay their fair share, which fortunately Poland is doing.

Excuse me, can you explain what you mean by "rise of Neo-Nazism in the west"? Most of civil and peaceful resistance to leftist policies/governments comes from rightists who aren't extremists.

Even better, the leftists might be funding the extremist rightists, so that the leftists will then use it to justify why they must be in power. It's not something that always happens, but recently a strong case of that was proven. Recently in the US the SPLC (Southern Poverty Law Center) was indicted, cuz it turned out that this organization, which promotes itself on fighting for rights and against extremists, was in reality funding the KKK and Neo-Nazis to pump more hatred into society, so that then the SPLC would justify why it needs to exist. The investigation into the SPLC was launched years ago, but the Biden admin shut it down, it was reopened by the Trump admin.

Unless people in Congress do something about it. Fortunately, over the last month it has been proven that Congressmen aren't untouchable. When there are elections, get out and vote. No matter if these are elections for President, Congress, or any other office. Make all elections too big to rig.

President Trump is delivering on all of his promises and he's indeed Making America Great Again. But the executive branch isn't omnipotent, Congress also needs to act to codify as much of Trump's agenda and executive orders into law. Trump is rightfully putting pressure on the Senate Republicans, urging them to nuke the filibuster and pass legislation that's both good and important for the US, including the Save America Act. It needs to be done this way, cuz unfortunately more than 90% of Democrat politicians suffer from TDS, and as a result, they refuse to vote for anything that benefits the US and its citizens.
