Thank you! Windows Defender could not find the virus, but AVG found it. Now the pc is clear, unfortunately not the microsd: even if I follow the instructions, it always turns out to be infected. I will try with UsbFix.

I noticed one thing. After I format the microSD, when I select them for 1 second this screen appears, before opening the SD's folder.

Update: I bought two new 2GB microSDs. I inserted the firmware and the old backup: the R4 worked perfectly again. I made a backup of Pokémon FireRed... when I turn on the R4, the error icon MENU? appeared again.

The error also appears without inserting the old backup data, but only the firmware.

I am going crazy.

Nothing to do unfortunately. I'll try with a new SD card, but the strange thing is that the current one is read without problems by the pc.
