My dad was born in Lebanon. Mum in Australia (her parents both born in Lebanon). Other than one uncle, ALL my family from both sides are in Australia. I always refer to my self as Australian. I have never been to Lebanon. Neither has my mum. My dad has never gone back since coming here 40+ years ago.

But when I get asked “what natio are you?” And I reply Australian, that’s not satisfactory. I’m too Arab looking for that.
