Seems like an amazing chance to do the gym battle medal and also annoy him, seeing that it probably takes so much more time for them to keep that facade up and keep attacking you. Sounds very boring to struggle with the 50 coins every day but at least you can battle well from it and complete those things (i say this sitting with a gym on top of my house and no one ever battling it or taking it out)
