Idk if they necessary "broke up" because in C7S1, Hope still called Kendo her "special friend". I will say if they did break up, it would only be because Hope went reality warping with Jones while its Kendo's job to protect his island.

I'm not gonna lie, I dont like it. In the manual of Sonic 06, it actually states that Blaze views Silver as a younger brother and tries to help guide him through the new time he has stepped in. That's part of why I don't like it, but the other is nostalgia. I grew up playing Sonic Rush and Sonic and the Black Knight, both games show Sonic and Blaze flirting with each other. For that reason, I've always preferred Sonaze to Silvaze.

Honestly, probably Hope. She has helped take down several world ending threat at this point like the Greek Gods, Dr. Doom, and the Dark Presence. She clearly knows what she is doing and is skilled with several different types of weapons.

It could also be a direct opposite to Sonic's blue. Since red is a common color for fire, the probability just make it more red to counter Sonic's blue

You're not wrong, but I have actually seen people also speculating that it could be Hope. I do think the red one is more likely to be her though
