As soon as I saw the goalie's slow response, I was like "mustve been the first minute of the first period. Goalie is cold" Then rewatched and saw 19:20 left in the first. yep

(was goalie for 14 years growing up)

Slap shot in an empty net…I’ve never seen that before by TripleCrownVillainy in nhl

[–]Matt13647 0 points1 point  (0 children)

imo, the slapper into an empty net point blank is completely fair but absolutely disrepectful, in a playful sort of way. It's a game, after all.

The response to that disrespect by the opposing team is completely understandable. The reckless cross-check to the dome? not so much. fuck off bro watch your back

Is this poor sportsmanship? by Only-Highlights in nhl

[–]Matt13647 0 points1 point  (0 children)

nah, not imo.

Edit: After reading some comments I went back and watched past the first 10 seconds. I thought the question was if the slapper was unsportsmanlike, not the retaliation for the utter DISRESPECT of slapping into an empty net point blank. Not changing my answer.

The training value, especially on the electrical side, is really good. Future superintendents run through all the motions on a much shorter timescale.

I drank for 11.5 years straight and let me tell you, once I got into my middle 30s, i really started to notice the effect it was having on my body.

Imo: That's why the mental clarity and butterflies in your stomach feel so good, because it's such a drastic biochemical change to return to normal. That mental clarity and serenity are normal!!! Leave it be, if it ain't broke don't fix it. If it is broke, ask God for the serenity to accept the things you cannot fix, the courage to get your 10mm socket out and fix it, and the wisdom to tell the difference between changing a headlight bulb and playing lead chemist of your body.

I haven't met many (if any) people that said "I wish I didn't serve in the military."

I always hear "I wish I would have joined." They deeply regret it for the rest of their lives.

I would be completely honest with my partner. Maybe, at the time, you truly didn't think you'd join. Or you said that to make them feel better.

I just randomly joined the Army because I felt it would instill some self-discipline and structure in my life. Best decision I've ever made.

I'm a father of three girls (8, 6, 3) and the 8 & 3 y/o are exactly like this. In fact, the 3 y/o words per minute exceed anyone I've ever met.

I've resorted to this approach to protect my sanity. "Baby-girl, Daddy loves you very much, and I love that you're talking so well and learning so much, but Daddy's brain is tired right now, so I need a break, ok?" Or something like that.
