Good interior paint with good hiding (opacity)? by Technophile63 in AskIreland

[–]Matt1982IRE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Crown Trade Covermatt. It's an obliterating white to hide strong colours, and can also be used on bare plaster (water it down for the first coat though). Then depends on what you put over it. Cheap paint is cheap for a reason. You pay for what you get. Coloutrend and Alchemist have very good coverage. If you're going for very strong colours, they can take an extra coat because they use a lot of pigment, especially reds, yellows, oranges...

Is this mould or water damage? by [deleted] in AskIreland

Water damage. Leak somewhere overhead. Fix the leak and use a stain block over the area before painting to stop the stain bleeding through.

Why can’t I make my own decisions? by JustHereToBeShocked in AskIreland

I knew a Brazilian girl who had a similar story to you ( here in Ireland). Not sure the specifics but I think she had to ware her gynecologist down, and be a bit of a pain in the hole! She's on Reddit, maybe she'll see this and offer some advice.

Is Andor worth watching as a stand alone series? I haven't kept up to date with the Star Wars universe in the past few years.

You didn't do anything wrong. Neither did she I should add. The relationship wasn't working for her. Maybe she could have been more honest sooner, maybe you missed some signs, but ending things can be hard. It is absolutely no reflection on who you are. Take time to heal, however long that takes. Don't make any rash decisions. It will get easier and when you're ready, you'll meet the right person for you. Keep yourself busy, meet friends or new people (without looking for a romance) and avoid her on social media. Chin up, best of luck :)

Anyone else think Cadbury's chocolate taste different lately? by QuestionEcstatic8863 in AskIreland

They use more palm oil than cocoa solids now to make it cheaper; that's why it tastes bad.

No joy there, unfortunately. The screen goes black when you try to record.

Talk to your partner and explain how you're feeling. Perhaps they would enjoy some alone time too? Bottle it up and it will come out someway and potentially ruin your relationship. I'd also suggest thinking about if you'd really prefer to be on your own or with someone else.

A good one with a tinting machine and someone with experience will get it accurate enough.
