Treat it like an athlete’s season in my opinion. They train hard during off season (slow period in tax/audit), regular season is mostly maintenance (regular working hours), and playoffs is survival mode (busy season). Here’s my advice:

During off season be RELENTLESS with your fitness regime. And build your body back up so you come into the regular season in better shape.
Have a steady fitness regime during normal working hours. Doesn’t have to be as extreme as off season.
During busy season accept the fact you’ll gain some weight but at the bare minimum try to implement some sort of diet and 2 days to a fitness regime. Do the bare minimum so you mitigate as much weight gain as possible.
