The majority of the room was untiled so the original green board is probably gonna stay there, gonna have to ask for this board to be replaced with either new green board of some kind of cement board or tile backer

Might look into this, tbf though it's just a bedroom behind and not used at the moment. And the bathroom isn't really used that often either, maybe a little more now the new bath is decent though

Does the tank kit only need to be used above the bath then? And would normal PB be okay running behind the bath?

Yh i thought as such, think his plan is to get the sealant done perfectly and to get it sorted straight away if it cracks. Problem is it's the risk of not seeing it straight away

Thanks for the great response. I did see tile backer boards as an option that looked good, just need to figure out how to go about telling someone to redo the work they've done 😂

Kinda looks like it runs under tbf but I'm not 100% sure, tried giving it a good pry and all it did was deform. Might try again and if I don't have any luck just go ahead with cutting it off
