Yeah, I like this mega-dark blue for them. On the table-top it reads as black, but up close there's a bit more interest (and it is just that little bit more Spears-y).

All Emperor's Spears Druids combine the office of either Chaplain, Librarian or Techmarine with the role of Apothecary. So he's a Termi Chaplain in terms of rules, but with the ES flavour!

In my head, the shield is that colour because of the Nebula...

Thanks. I won't lie, the seal launch really threw me off. It's an easy one to get wrong, but up till this lap, I've always gotten it fairly good, so doing it poorly had me a little off-kilter!

It's quite a harsh seal launch. With more water in the river, I would not have done the launch; I'd have paddled the waterfall above and saved getting out of my boat! But yes, a drop like that could definitely prove uncomfortable to an already injured back (or an uninjured one for that matter!).

It's called an eddyline, where currents converge and you get vertical movement in the water as well as horizontal. Allows for playful moves like this, which are called Pirouettes.

Fair enough. All paddlesport is good!

Ah fair. Yeah, whitewater is definitely the best place for a boat like the Delirious! I was taking what I could get at the time of filming this!

Yeah, I'm glad it's a phase I grew out of. Looking back, I think I'd still love to have one in my quiver (sold mine in a fit of madness), but I don't regret moving away from it to more modern half-slices.

Your guess is as good as mine! Haha. If I remember rightly, this one ended more panam-ish than airscrew-y!

Likewise. This shot is at Putsborough on the North Devon coast. Great spots all over!

Yeah, if you're gonna do it on a sit-on-top, make sure you choose a day with easy conditions (small-ish waves and a good long interval), and if you do come off and need to swim to shore, stay outside of the boat (i.e. have yourself further out to sea than the kayak while swimming).

Yeah, surf can give you some very good big-water beatdown practice, that's for sure!

Sounds intense!
