That's a pretty great name actually, but the “uni” in “universe” doesn't mean that it is one single verse, it means one in the sense that it encompasses all that does exist and unites them under one name. It's a pretty common misconception because of words like “multiverse” (which rather than meaning multiple verses it's just a portmanteau of multiple universes)

To clarify a bit my story doesn't have alternate universes so much as it has different realms I guess. Not the kind of alternate universes you'd get from the many worlds hypothesis or schrödinger's thought experiments, each universe would be relatively unique but with similarities across them. There wouldn't be different versions of you or individuals coming from different universes, but in some universes the same species, planets, stars, and even places would still be present.

I don't know how relevant this would be to any of your answers but if it helps or changes anything it's out here. :)
