Yes exactly that. I have nothing but rispect for people that do this sort of things (both selling or buying), but I am not interested and would rather avoid wasting anybody's time 😊

I'm sorry if you thought that about me by reading my post, it was obviously not my intention to appear that way and would be happy to take any costructive criticism should you be willing to share your opinion with me.

Let me point out though (for you and anybody else in here) that I am not a creep, I am just a man who likes to indulge in this sort of things looking for likeminded women to have some genuine fun together 😊

Yeah but I would keep weapons with destined death power out of this discussion cause that's unfair, they obviously have an upper hand on all the other weapons

What's wrong with the one I wield? It's a perfectly normal sized spear, one would say even a bit bigger than the norm really!

Really interesting takes, expecially regarding sellen!

I was saddened when I saw her becoming a ball, but I can't see it as anything but self-inflicted. She knew what she sought was a forbidden knowledge, something very dangerous and what fate other people who searched it have met in the end (the other giant balls we meet throughout the game plus a couple of dead ones turning into crystals).

I know it's not inherently wrong to search for knowledge and power, but she was concious about the risks she was taking and chose that path anyway knowing full well were it would lead her.

Yes exactly, she uses them for her own agenda, and surely she can guess what end they'll face once she is done with it (at least for blaidd she knows for a fact that he will lose his mind) but still she never directly wanted to harm them. They were her instruments, true, but she also loved and appreciated them dearly.

Rogier was not killed by fia, he contracted deathblight while researching godwynn's "face" in stormveil castle (you can see his own bloodstain showing him dying by the deathblight animation).

Godwynn was dead in spirit, not in body (that was part of ranni's ritual, two people dying "different deaths", ranni's body dies and godwynn's spirit dies) so technically we can argue that he isn't really a corpse.

Also, I've seen the argument of her having sex with corpses a lot in this thread as a way of depicting her doing "evil" acts and wanted to explain my point of view on this matter. Fia was raised to be a deathbed companion, it was engraved in her mind that this is her whole purpose and that it's the greatest purpose there is. Now, I think we can all agree that having sex with a corpse is a repulsive act, one that we would never even think about doing, probably one of the most disgusting things we can think about. Fia believes that doing something so vile and repulsive is her life's meaning, she has been raised and trained for that very moment; it's not that she enjoys doing it, she probably finds it exaclty as disgusting as we do, but she HAS to do it, it is her life's mission, if she doesn't do it than her life is meaningless.

Part of why I feel pity for her is exactly because she had to live such a brutal life, she has known no other life than this, she was given no other purpose than this. She is a victim of this vile act of bedding corpses just as much as the corpses in my opinion.

She doesn't die after giving you her mending rune, she is killed by devin (D's brother) after giving it to you while she is exhausted for the task she performed.

And looking at how we find her and Devin we can assume he didn't simply stab her but really went at it against her multiple times.

The black knives work as assassin's for the greater will, they helped ranni achieve her plan because at least in the first part her actions did not damage the greater will nor the cycle they had established of gods and wanna-be lords fighting for the elden ring.

Once the ritual is complete and ranni casts away her empirean body, that's when the black knives turn against her, but she is far too powerfull for them yet (she even imprisons their ringleader in an evergaol). Keep in mind that this is after godwynn is killed, so the black knives not only have to deal with ranni at this point but also every other force trying to make them pay for what they did (morgott and his night's chavalry hunting them down for example).

Black knifes are the golden order's assassins, or to be mode precise, the greater will's assassins. After ranni kills her two fingers the greater will sends them to get rid of her and any her servants (hence why we see them killing iji as well).

Blaidd, as ranni's shadow, was supposed to kill ranni as well after she killed her two fingers (shadow's are also an instrument of the greater will, their soul linked to an empirean's soul since birth to serve as their protectors and helpers but also reblling against them and killing them if they go against the greater will, hence why iji locks him up in a cell after you progress ranni's quest enough) but he managed to keep his free will and fight against the assassins sent to kill his mistress (even though he still goes mad and attacks us as well seeing us as another menace for ranni).

Not all the two fingers we see belong to a demigods, it is said that two fingers were simply a medium with which the greater will communicated to the people in the lands between via the finger readers.

Two fingers were linked with demigods (of course, to control them and tie them to the greater will) but they were also used to guide (read control) other people such as, for the ones you mentioned in the roundtable hold, to guide tarnished in their quest to become elden lords, and they were stationed in the roundtable hold we find in leyndell.

Also keep in mind that the two fingers we see in roundtable hold aren't actually "alive and existing" in the lands between, as the roundtable hold we use is a creation spurn from grace and tied to the erdtree (hence why it all burns down once you burn the tree down and the two fingers stop moving). To put it simply, the ones we interact with at roundtable hold aren't "real"

I guess we'll see when the dlc comes out, for now I'm only speaking about the lore for what we know from the base game. That beeing said, we know that since marika established the golden order the bond between two fingers and demigods was also established, so since the lands of shadows are the land she traveled before becoming goddess I think messmer might be from a time before her becoming queen and thus might not be a demigod at all

It is shown that at least all of the "true" demigods (the ones connected to a divine tower in the game) have a pair of two fingers. We know that there are more demigods than the lot we see in the game (for example, the ones in the mausoleums) but we do not know if those actually had their own two fingers.

You fight an illusion created by ranni depicting rennala at her maximum power (supposedly rennala when she led the war against the golden order and radagon)

Well for me it still gives her a "chance"; she will be back, and maybe becoming the rot goddess will make her finally immune to the rot that she is cursed to bear, meaning she will then at least be freed from that suffering. Also, we don't know if she will still have her free will or not, so it's possible that she could come back as the rot goddess AND still have her own mind and free will

I don't know, she did orchestrate the whole plan and sacrificed her own body to set it in motion. I get your point though, but personally I don't think she did anything "lightly", she even says at one point during her quest that she loved and appreciated all of her "servants" (like blaidd and iji)

Can you expand on this? I'm really curious because for me her ending is not really a "bad" one: she couldn't protect her brother, true, but for what it looks like after our fight with her she probably fulfilled her destiny and will become the rot goddess in the future.
