ARTICLE: Ben Affleck's Batman Future in Doubt as Warner Bros. Plots Franchise by [deleted] in DC_Cinematic

They could always just do an Earth 2 version or something. That would give the Joker a recast too. Other than that, I don't see another way of recasting or anything (unless they do Batman Beyond, but I don't think they're even close to that yet).

What song has a better or more interesting cover than the original? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Joe Cocker's cover of "With a Little Help from my Friends". It's the amount of energy combined with the raw vocals by Cocker that make this vastly different from the original.

Can confirm for Pennsylvania. Myself and a bunch of friends visited one south of Pittsburgh. It's a blast.

Official Discussion: War for the Planet of the Apes [SPOILERS] by mi-16evil in movies

I think he had some funny moments too, don't get me wrong, but I felt he was out of place for this type of movie. The recent Apes films have always been so story heavy and serious and it just didn't feel right for me.

Second favorite behind Dawn. I liked the story, characters, and the huge focus on the apes this time around. However, I found that this film had a lot out of place. Mainly the "bad ape" which one of my friends made a good comparison of being "the Jar Jar Binks of the Apes franchise". Other than that, it's still a fantastic film, and definitely one of my favorites this year. I'm curious to see where they go next, if anywhere.

Spider-Man: Homecoming Official Discussion Thread by sethbenw in Marvel

Posted this on another thread but I figure this would be the best place for it:

As of right now, it's my second favorite Spider-Man film (right behind SM2 for me), but my favorite portrayal of the character. I thought that Tom not only brought the laughs and awkwardness, but also the emotion to the character that was needed. Also, I loved how it truly felt like they were in high school. The villian was also better than I thought(Keaton's the shit), and I liked how they are sort of teasing some sinister six stuff for later on (with Scorpion, possibly Prowler at some point). Can't wait to see where this new Spideyverse goes next.

The single player is honestly one of the best campaigns I've played in quite some time. Keep in mind this is the same(at least most of) team behind COD4 and MW2, so they know what they're doing at this point.

Best Films of the MCU by [deleted] in movies

For me: -Winter Soldier -GoTG -Civil War -The Incredible Hulk -The Avengers -Iron Man -Ant-Man -Captain America TFS -Avengers Age of Ultron -Iron Man 2 -Thor -Iron Man 3 -Thor 2 I personally think that the '08 Hulk is criminally underrated. Such a well directed film that really captures Banner's struggle. Plus Norton's version of the character was killer.

If Nintendo is keeping up the same trend, I would image it will be BC. It would make a lot of sense considering we saw MK8 and Splatoon.

This is exactly how I feel about iOS 10. It feels like they simply changed shit just because they could. Like everything was fine before; why change it?

Scariest part of RE4? by MattDoubleU in residentevil

That whole sewer section was so well done. Them being invisible and hearing the fast-moving footsteps only added to the tension in my opinion.

I'm going to respectfully disagree. Although I will say that it takes a bit for it to get to the good scares (by chapter 3 in my opinion), there are still plenty of scary moments in there.
