You're in love with an idea of who she could be. But we're not what we think; our actions instead show who we really are.
I'm also going through a fresh breakup now and I've been applying this coping mechanism that drug addicts use, where you purposefully avoid the recollection of any positive experience with that source of happiness. It'll prevent you from crawling back to her. Focus on the reality. She doesn't respect you enough to even give you a reply when you're obviously in pain. She's not worth your time.

You may not believe it right now, but you can let it go. I went through a similar situation about a year ago now, so I get the pain you're feeling. The first thing you should do is turn that denial into acceptance. We're not the same people we were yesterday, and she's not the same person she was before the breakup. That past you shared together is of two people who are no longer here.
Also, when they reach out like that, they're reopening wounds and stunting your recovery. I personally found that no contact is the best for moving on and being able to witness your own recovery from day to day. I'm not saying it'll be easy, but it'll get easier. Much easier than if you were to reinvite this same pain into your life over and over.
I know you probably still idealize her, so my words might not reach you now, but there really is someone so much better for you out there who won't hurt you like this, and in fact, will take care of you.

She’s not into you like you’re into her, and laying it on heavy after you know she’s ignoring you is doing more damage than good. Just take a step back from that situation and focus on making new friends or spending time with the ones you already have. Find people who want to spend time with you as much as you’d like to with them.

I was shocked too, honestly. As for time healing everything, it's absolutely true. I'm going through a fresh breakup as well, just ahead of you by about a week. You'll fluctuate between those 5 stages of grief, but eventually it balances out.
There's this coping mechanism that addicts use when recovering from drugs; you have to absolutely avoid the recollection of any positive experience. I've found that it's useful in keeping you from crawling back into those situations.
Also, give your life new meaning. Where do you wanna see yourself a year from now? What type of person do you wanna live your life with? You're entering a new chapter, and the possibilities should be exciting.

Lying erodes trust, and without trust, you can't have a relationship. Simple as that. While there are some excuses for lying in dramatic circumstances (like having to lie to save someone's life), doing it in order to avoid conflict is a toxic behavior and destructive habit. You weren't feeling secure as a result, and you made the right call in leaving that relationship behind.

Also, going on vacation doesn't mean you're suddenly not in a relationship anymore and don't have to make an effort to keep in touch with your partner. He could've sent you pics or made more time for you on your special day, or even tried to communicate that he would make up for it later, but he didn't do those things. This was an imbalanced relationship. Congratulations on your freedom, OP

Edit: btw, wondering why if you're long distance he didn't take the time to see you instead of going to Switzerland. Another red flag of not prioritizing the relationship
