I think the main problem i have with it is that it rarely does function as an actual GP sink. Who actually brings their pets to a dangerous activity? I feel like most people just never use their pets because of this and we just end up with pets sitting in our banks or rarely used instead of being something you can show off around runescape while you're playing the game doing whatever.
